K-9 Ivor El Paso County, CO S.O.

****Update ****
On 08-26-08 K-9 Ivor died due to injuries he had suffered in the line of duty. Dave and his family were with Ivor when he had to be put down. Ivor worked the streets until January of 2007 when he had to be retired due to injuries he suffered in a car crash in 2005. Ivor was a great dog, and always gave everything that he had, at whatever was asked of him.

Born: November 14, 1992  Passed: October, 16, 2003
Service Dates: March 30, 1995 to November 27, 2000
Certified Narcotics, Tracking and Patrol K-9
Winner of 1998 H.A.P.D.A. Patrol Dog Trophy Run
K-9 Harley - Fort Morgan, CO P.D.
K-9 Harley was handled by Ofc. Tim Malone
Harley was the partner of Officer Tim Malone. He was diagnosed with cancer recently and died on September 18th.

Harley is credited with removing a substantial amount of drugs off the streets.

Harley was a very lovable and personable dog who loved what he did as a police canine for the department and the community.

He was a valued member of the Malone family, and the Fort Morgan Police Department and will be missed deeply.

Harley's was born in Holland on May 4, 1994
His given name was “Brick V.H. Jutter’s Erf.”
Harley was purchased with donations from the Fort Morgan community. He was trained in detecting the odor of illegal drugs, tracking, weapons, and apprehension of criminals.

K-9 Hasan - Finney County S.O.
K-9 Hasan was handled by Dep. Scott Chalmers
Hasan's Slavakian name: Hasan Inmunska Cesta CS
Born: 08-26-1999   Service Dates: 11-25-00 to 09-21-07
Certified U.S.P.C.A. PDI, PDII and Detection
Hasan suffered a severe, career ending leg injury during a demonstration for a local public school.

After surgery Hasan is on the long road to recovery and is looking forward to living life as a spoiled house dog !!
